Q: You are visiting Boston for the first time in your life. Your friend kindly wrote to his cousin who lives in Boston to ask him to show you around. Tomorrow you will be meeting the cousin. But first, you must decide on the place to meet him. What would you say?
A: Where do you want to meet? I prefer somewhere that’s easy to find since it’s my first time in Boston.
Q: You bump into a friend on your way to work. It turns out he is interested in a product you are selling, and you’d like him to come over to your office later to see some samples. What would you say?
A: I have some samples I could show you. Why don’t we meet at my office later?
Q: You have been invited to a conference as a guest speaker. The organizer says he will come and pick you up at the hotel before the conference starts. What would you say?
A: Where shall I wait for you? Is the lobby okay?

Q: You are on your way to a business meeting. However, your bus is late, so you won’t get there on time. You decide to call your colleague and ask him to start the meeting without you. What would you say?
A: Hi. I’m running a little late. Please start without me.
Q: You were shopping and you’re late to meet your boyfriend for lunch. Your boyfriend calls you and asks you whether you are coming or not. What would you say?
A: Sorry! I’ll be there in a few minutes.
Q: Your customer had been waiting outside of your office because you had to take an important phone call. What would you say as you invite him into your office?
A: Sorry to have kept you waiting. I had to take that call.
