◆Let’s try the following exercises.
Q: You had a fight with a friend because he told you a lie. Your other friend comes and asks you what happened. What would you say?
A: I’m really angry at him. He told me a lie!
Q: Your email account tells you to change the password every time you log in and it’s giving you trouble. Your friend asks you what is wrong. What would you say?
A: I’m so frustrated with my email account. Why do I have to change the password every time I log in?
Q: Your brother is practicing the guitar for hours. You want to concentrate, but you are getting impatient with the noise. How would you complain?
A: I can’t take it anymore! Stop it!

Q: Your friend’s cell phone is ringing loudly and it irritates you. What would you say to him?
A: Hey, answer the phone already! It’s annoying.
Q: Your roommate always leaves her dirty dishes in the common sink. How would you complain?
A: It bothers me when you leave your dirty dishes in the sink. Can you wash them right away?
Q: Your brother is playing video games and you are getting irritated with the sound. What would you say?
A: The noise is getting on my nerves. Can you turn the sound off?
